Company Growth

Since our founding in 1977, Leander Lubricants has achieved continuous growth resulting from our commitment to technical expertise in formulation, manufacturing, customer service, and industrial process chemical applications. In 1998 we moved into our new, 30,000 square foot headquarters and manufacturing facility located in Earth City (St. Louis) Missouri. This new building will allow us to keep pace with increased demands for our research and development, and manufacturing expertise.

Custom Solutions . . . Not “Stock” Answers

Before we'll fill any order, we complete a product specification work sheet. This takes more effort, but assures superior application results.

We start by evaluating your current process fluid use. This includes the dilution ratio and the problems you're experiencing. We examine foaming, odor, galling, finish, parts cleaning, tool life, dermatitis, residual film and price. We even evaluate your application in light of evolving OSHA and EPA rules.

Only after reviewing your application and problems do we start our recommendation process. We examine our wide array of product formulas to determine which will best meet your needs. Then we look at adjusting the formulation to better address specific aspects of your application. Only after this evaluation and formula review process do we recommend a specific product. That's why we say Leander Lubricants provides “custom solutions, not stock answers.”

Customer-Supplier Partnership

Leander Lubricants is committed to true partnership with customers. We recognize that your requirements must be met in a timely, professional manner. We base the customer-supplier partnership on respect, trust, and integrity. We do whatever is required to provide you with the industry's highest quality products and service available. We have formulated over 400 different products to meet or exceed customer requirements.

Large Customer Base

Our customer base includes small and large metalworking facilities in the continental United States, Canada, Mexico, Taiwan and the Pacific Basin.

Technical Support

Technical support is Leander Lubricants' hallmark. We're committed to providing you the highest level of service. Our objective is to provide solutions, not stock answers. Off-the-shelf isn't good enough. We seek to understand your total process so we can recommend a product specifically formulated to achieve the best results. Our technical staff understands every facet of industrial processes that use metalworking fluids, lubricants and cleaning chemicals. These include more traditional processes such as coolant systems, and plating, cleaning, and casting operations.

We also provide technical expertise that supports process and waste water treatment, and oil reclamation, to name a few. Based on experience, our staff has the necessary skills to meet your needs with the optimum solution to your process goals.

Machinery & Equipment

Leander also sells the machinery and equipment used to apply our products. We source our broad line from the finest manufacturers in the country, and assure our products will work in the machinery we recommend.

Adapting To Change

We recognize that today's manufacturing environment is changing at a dramatic rate. Leander Lubricants' flat, proactive management structure can easily and quickly adapt to changes in customer requirements. Our product design staff is constantly developing new products and technologies. We continuously review new technology, in both the chemical and hardware fields, to provide the solution to process problems that address total system requirements, and are cost effective.
